Yoga for Grief Relief Mentorship

Deepen your practical experience in the intersection of somatic wisdom and grief relief. This 18-week, home-based mentoring program is an exclusive opportunity for graduates of our 300-hour program and students currently enrolled in the 800-hour certification. Led by Antonio Sausys, and supported by Michele Lawrence and program mentors, this program provides a structured, supervised environment to integrate the Yoga for Grief Relief (YGR) Initial Treatment Guidelines into your professional practice.

Key Dates & Details

Throughout this program, you will move beyond theory into direct application. You will be guided through the process of:

  • Clinical Intake & Selection: Choosing and assessing three distinct clients—addressing death-related loss, non-death-related loss, and secondary grief identified during consultation.
  • Assessment: Utilizing specialized YGR tools to evaluate grief intensity, functionality, and somatic symptoms.
  • Protocol Integration: Delivering simple, effective YGR treatment plans from the Initial Treatment Guidelines, including yoga techniques, self-reflection charts, and appropriate referrals.
  • Supervised Reflection: Meeting with your mentors to review client work; meeting as a group to receive support from Antonio.
  • Case Study Presentation: Presenting a final case study that captures the client’s journey and your own growth as a therapist.

Dates:

  • May 28 from 10-12pm MT: 2 hour kickoff with Antonio to review the Yoga for Grief Relief Initial Treatment Guidelines to use in your client work.
  • July 9 & Aug 6 from 10-12pm MT: 2 hour check ins with Antonio to discuss client work.
  • September 22 & 29 from 10-12pm MT: Final case study presentations.
