The Yoga Sutras is an ancient scripture forming a complete guide for the study and practice of Yoga. It weaves together a beautiful tapestry of essential wisdom and insights that reveal our divine nature.
Whether you are a student of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras or new to its Yogic Wisdom this unique weekly 4-part workshop will provides an opportunity to understand the reason for the practices, and to gain knowledge of and interpret Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras from a heart-centered intuitive approach.
Originally you may have come to Yoga for its powerful health and strengthening benefits, it is now time to partake in the unfathomable sense of peace leading to the emotional and spiritual enlightenment that is our birthright.
In this workshop we will explore all four of the books or padas, Samadhi, Sadhana,Vibhuti and Kaivalya Padas. Through this exploration we find ourselves moving through the practices and entering the esoteric world of powers (siddhis), transformation and spiritual liberation.
This workshop is based on Nischala Devi’s book, The Secret Power of Yoga which has been revised to include all four books or Padas of the Yoga Sutras.

The session will be recorded and the replay will be made available for those who are unable to attend live. This course offers 10 hours of continuing education via Approved Professional Development with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
About Nischala Joy Devi
NISCHALA JOY DEVI is a masterful and compassionate teacher. For many years she is highly respected as an international advocate for her innovative way of expressing Yoga and its subtle uses for spiritual growth and complete healing. Educated by masters in India and worldwide, she was a monastic disciple of Sri Swami Satchidanandaji for over 20 years. Developing the Yoga portion of the landmark research in pioneering Yoga for life threatening diseases, Dean Ornish’s Program for Reversing Heart Disease and Commonweal Cancer Help Program, culminated in the creation of her Yoga of the Heart® certification course for teachers and health professionals. Additionally, she created Healing Relationships, a Yoga Therapy training to enhance intuition and assessment skills for Yoga Therapists. Passionate about the field of Yoga Therapy, a series of on-line classes were created to allow therapist to further their knowledge in different aspects of healing.
