Strength and Balance Yoga
for Cancer Survivors

Meets weekly on Mondays from 9:30-10:20 AM starting 2/12/24
Smiley Bldg, 2nd floor Room 20A, Durango

This class is designed specifically for cancer survivors who want to enhance their physical well-being and improve their overall strength and balance. We will focus on yoga poses and movements that promote strength, flexibility, and stability. Michele or Sandy will guide you through a series of tailored exercises that target key areas such as the core, legs, and arms, helping to build muscle tone and improve overall body strength. Additionally, we will incorporate various balance exercises to help improve stability and reduce the risk of falls. These exercises will challenge your equilibrium and promote bone health while enhancing your body awareness and coordination. This class is for survivors who are post-treatment and have some previous yoga experience.

Class is offered free of charge to those who register below, thanks to generous sponsorship from the Cancer Support Community Southwest Colorado.
