A late-bloomer, Lisa feels like she’s just getting started on her mission to positively impact humanities pain and suffering.

After living in Minneapolis MN for most of her adult life, empty nesting two wonderful humans and selling her thriving yoga therapy studio in Excelsior Mn, Lisa moved to British Columbia, Canada in 2017 – to open heartedly enter her “wonder years”. Adventure, nature and Kriya Yoga make Swamiji’s heart sing, and following our hearts song is a mentorship she offers the world. Together, she and her partner Neil Pearson direct and facilitate trainings, workshops and retreats, where they educate yoga teachers/therapists, movement professionals and regulated health professionals about yoga and pain science within the extensive professional development programing in “Pain Care Aware”.

Lisa is also the visionary, director and mentor of the PCA Training Team, supporting and guiding PCA Trainers through the dharma of our mutual mission – changing pain in society through the platforms of pain science and yoga. Having lived with Fibromyalgia for over 30 years, Lisa teaches from her deep well of yoga wisdom, her lived experience of pain, and her connection and approach to yoga ritual.
