Lifeforce Yoga + Internal Family Systems

A Synergistic Integration to Soothe, Restore and Heal

2.5 hour virtual workshop with Amy Weintraub and Laura Schmidt

Wednesday June 17 | 5:00-7:30pm MT

LifeForce Yoga practices help us access the self-compassion we need to safely down regulate  our nervous systems. Internal Family Systems helps us relate to ourselves and others with curiosity, clarity and an open-heart.

Experience how these two healing modalities beautifully integrate through a LFY introduction that blends a gentle, evidence-based, clinically appropriate yoga protocol to help you self-soothe and clear your mind. Through IFS, start to befriend your internal family of parts–the emotions, thoughts and behaviors who protect, manage and react, as well as the tender, hidden young ones who long for protection. Start building a relationship with these parts from the innate source of compassionate presence that is your highest Self.

Through a direct experience of accessible pranayama, meditations, mantras, mudras and IFS practices  you’ll start to:

  • Embody Self energy.
  • Befriend parts with curiosity and kindness.
  • Practice yoga skills to manage your mood.
  • Strengthen a connection between your Self and your parts.
  • Identify ways to integrate these two healing modalities in your practice.

This introductory workshop is appropriate for yoga and mental health professionals, those on a healing journey, regardless of experience, and anyone curious about IFS and LifeForce Yoga. CE credits are available for yoga professionals.

We encourage participants to attend live. However, the session will be recorded and the replay will be distributed to all registrants.
