Inner Peace Yoga Therapy Mentorship
This mentorship program focuses on providing guidance and support for yoga therapists working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, emphasizing evidence-based practices and personalized mentorship to enhance therapeutic skills and client outcomes. Participants will gain valuable insights and tools to effectively address these challenges in their professional practice.
February - April 2026. Guided by Lisa Haake (PhD, C-IAYT) and supported by Michele Lawrence and program mentors.

Assignment Overview: Select 3 clients with anxiety, depression, or trauma history. Use the client intake form to gather information on their health history, goals, etc. Conduct assessments using the provided client assessment form. Develop a simple yoga therapy treatment plan and conduct 3-5 follow-up visits. Write 3 client case studies summarizing client goals, assessment findings, treatment plans, follow-up feedback, and personal reflections.
Participants will be matched with a program mentor to meet 1:1 to discuss client issues, additionally there are group sessions, as outlined below.

Lisa Haake, Ph.D., LMFT, C-IAYT is a holistic psychotherapist and yoga therapist in central Illinois. She has been a clinician since 2000, a yoga practitioner since 2007 and a yoga facilitator since 2011. She founded and opened Pure Being, an integrative health and wellness center, in the spring of 2020 and provides leadership to a team of holistic-minded providers, as well as direct service to individuals, couples and small groups. She integrates eastern philosophy, tradition and practice with the current “best practice” from western models of neuroscience, psychology and trauma treatment. Her deepest fulfillment comes from creatively supporting and guiding people to their essential wholeness and life satisfaction.
